Verification Policy

1. Verification tiers

WorkVira Nexus uses a tiered verification system to differentiate account capability:

• Unverified: Email not verified. Browse only — cannot post or apply.
• Verified: Email verified, basic profile complete. Can post task-level work, apply to jobs, and send messages.
• Business Verified: ABN, business registration, or equivalent confirmed. Unlocks corporate, construction, and managed project posting types.
• Trusted Provider: Strong coordination outcomes, completed reviews, admin-reviewed track record. Shown with trust badge; priority in structured matching.
• Managed Operator: Agency or managed account eligible for multi-party and ongoing coordination. Requires admin approval.
• Admin Reviewed: Elevated trust confirmed directly by platform operations. Special permissions may be granted.

2. What verification confirms

Verification badges indicate that documents or information were reviewed by Ecovira operations at the time of verification. They confirm:

• The account holder presented a document consistent with their stated identity.
• For business verification: a business registration reference was reviewed.
• The profile information was not obviously inconsistent with the submitted documents.

3. What verification does NOT guarantee

Verification badges are not a guarantee of:

• Skill, competency, or professional qualification in any field.
• Insurance coverage, public liability, or professional indemnity.
• Licensing under trade, construction, finance, medical, legal, or other regulated sectors.
• Immigration or work authorisation status in any jurisdiction.
• The accuracy of all profile claims made after verification was conducted.
• Future conduct — a verified account may later be suspended for policy violations.

Participants remain responsible for their own due diligence regarding counterparty qualifications, licensing, and insurance before engaging.

4. Verification gating on job types

Certain coordination types require a minimum verification tier before posting is permitted:

• Construction, corporate, managed project: Business Verified or higher.
• High-value listings: Admin review required above the published threshold.
• “Verified providers only” jobs: Verified identity tier minimum to apply.

These gates are coordination risk controls — they do not certify the underlying work or legal compliance.

5. Document handling

Verification documents are stored securely with private access controls. They are used only for the stated verification purpose. See our Privacy Policy for data handling details.
